The University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH) is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced vendors to provide services required to fulfill the scope of work for UNMH On-Call Independent Building Commissioning Agent, referred herein, as "Commissioning Consultant". "Total Building Commissioning" as defined by The National Conference of Building Commissioning is as follows: "systematic process of assuring by verification and documentation, from the design phase to a minimum of one year after construction, that all facility systems perform interactively in accordance with the design documentation and intent, and in accordance with the owner's operational needs, including preparation of operation personnel. Any contract issued as a result of this RFP will be in effect for a period of one (1) year from date of award. Contingent upon funding and mutual agreement of the parties, the contract may be extended one year at a time for up to three (3) additional years. It is emphasized that regardless of termination date, any unfinished project, including phases, will be carried to completion by the same contracted consultant, but without unduly prolonging the process. Projects involving multiple phases will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Potential proposers are encouraged to submit written questions in advance of the conference. The identity of the organization submitting the question(s) will not be revealed. Additional written and oral questions may be submitted at the conference. All questions will be addressed at the conference. A public log will be kept of the names of potential proposers that attended the pre-proposal conference. A guided site visit may be provided after the conference. Attendance at the pre-proposal conference is MANDATORY.
