As of April 26, 2024, this project is in the conceptual phase and pending site selection. Proposals for an architect firm is still in progress and negotiations should be finalized by July 2024. A timeline for selecting a CMAR has not been determined. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction could start in 2026 for Phase 1-Elementary School. A timeline for Phase 2-Middle School has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: SCOPE OF SERVICES The successful firm will masterplan and design a school complex consisting of an elementary school (750 ADM core of 850 students; both in Phase I) and to design a middle school (700 ADM core of 800 students, Phase 2). Construction of the elementary school will commence immediately upon completion of the design and receipt of all required permits. The middle school construction timeline will be dependent upon need and funding. Design ADMs could fluctuate based on changing demographic data. The owner desires a cost-effective modern design with maximum flexibility for use of the classrooms by multiple grade levels. Connectivity between the schools through common facilities is desired. It is anticipated that the method of delivery will be by Construction Manager at Risk.
