Construction services including sewer maintenance and repair, roads and highways and excavation and backfill services, levee and dam construction and digging, ditching, road grading, rock stabilization, equipment rental or lease, and energy conservation. Draper City is Requesting Bids From for the Jenson Farm Park Phase 1 Project. The Scope of This Project Will Be to Provide All the Labor, Materials, Tools and Equipment Necessary for the Construction of Parking Lot, Restrooms, Pavilion, Playground, Paths, and Landscaping as Described in the Project. The following Draper City Specifications and Standard Details: General Conditions-Construction Projects (General Conditions) are standards governing the construction of public Works improvements within Draper City, including, but not limited to, the construction and installation of roads, streets, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, drainage systems, water systems and landscaping applicable to Contractors which contract with the City, and those who perform such Work by contract with others. In extraordinary circumstances alternative standards may be allowed, where justified, upon written approval in the reasonable discretion of the Draper City Engineer. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to Draper City (OWNER) for five percent of the total amount of the bid. After bid opening, the OWNER will return all of the bonds except that of the lowest responsible bidder. When the contract is executed, and the OWNER receives the performance, payment, and all other required bonds, the bid bond of the successful bidder will be returned. A certified check made payable to OWNER may be used in place of the bid bond. A performance and payment bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the owner, will be required to ensure faithful performance of the contract. The duration of the performance and payment bond shall be one year after the anticipated completion date of the project. It is anticipated that work may begin in April 2024, with a Notice to Proceed to be issued no later than May 1, 2024. Substantial completion is anticipated to be completed by November 2024. Delays related to weather shall not be allowed unless the weather is unusually severe and actually delays the work on the critical path as defined by the Contractor's approved construction schedule. All questions regarding this project must be submitted electronically through UP3.com on or before 5:00 PM, TUESDAY, MARCH 19, 2024.
