Renovation of a multi-residential development in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Bids will be received from Bidders for upgrades to the fire alarm system at Broken Bow Housing Authority's (BBHA) Custer Heights Apartments in Broken Bow Nebraska in accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by Prochaska & Associates, 11317 Chicago Circle, Omaha, Nebraska 68154-2633. Contractors are requested to prepare a written list of any questions they may have, for response if required by written Addendum. No questions will be answered verbally. The Work includes selective demolition, upgrades to existing fire alarm system, and miscellaneous supporting general construction and electrical work. This project is funded the Capital Fund program of 2022 from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). As such, the project requires compliance with Davis-Bacon wage rates. This project also requires compliance with BBHA's Section 3 Plan, which targets minimum numeric goals for employment and contracting opportunities for Section 3 residents and business concerns. The project is expected to be less than $250,000 and therefore is exempt from Build America Buy America (BABA). U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services' E-Verify is required for any Federal Government funded project exceeding $150,000 or 120 days and any sub-contracts exceeding $3500. All work and materials are to be in strict compliance with the plans and specifications prepared by Prochaska & Associates, 11317 Chicago Circle, Omaha, Nebraska 68154-2633, (402) 334-0755. Bid Security is required in the amount of 5% of the Bid. Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bonds will also be required for 100% of the Contract Sum. The Owner reserves the right to award a contract or contracts in its own best interest and to reject any and all bids and to waive any or all formalities or technicalities.
