PN 426 - Rehabilitation of Bellinger Road (CR 32) The Rehabilitation of Bellinger Road project will consist of the rehabilitation of 1.6 miles of roadway in the Town of Danube. The project begins 0.3 miles east of Dingman Hill Rd and continues to the intersection with NYS Route 5. The work will include, but is not limited to: grinding and regrading the existing oil & stone pavement, culvert replacements, widening and overlay with gravel subbase, and paving binder and top course asphalt. Ditches will be reshaped and stone-lined as needed. Driveway culverts will be replaced and driveways will be reestablished to the new road surface with stone subbase. Location: Bellinger Rd CR 32 Town of Danube, Herkimer County NY Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the gross amount of the bid. The bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish performance, payment, and guarantee bonds from an acceptable Surety Company for an amount not less than 100% of the accepted bid. This project is subject to the provision of Chapter 605, Laws of the State of New York of 1959, Section 103-A of The General Municipal Law and subsequent amendments.
