Reference Number 0000344490 The structural repairs to the Michaelian Office Building Parking Garage Structure, located at 148 Martine Avenue, White Plains, New York and shall include, but not be limited to the following items: Column repairs, Spandrel Beam repairs, Plaza level Expansion Joint replacement and localized Plaza restoration, Ramp replacement and/or repairs, Stormwater drainage repairs and upgrades, Waterproofing and traffic coating, Fire sprinkler system repairs and/or upgrades, Heating and Ventilation system repairs and/or upgrades, Electrical system repairs and/or upgrades, Carbon Monoxide system repairs and/or upgrades, Fire Alarm/Smoke Detection system repairs and/or upgrades, New Integrated Data Acquisition Cellular Telephone System, Limited Hazardous Materials Abatement and other miscellaneous associated work. inquiries shall be sent to: Esther Rivas Westchester County Department of Public Works and Transportation, 148 Martine Avenue, Suite 500 White Plains, New York 10601 (egr3@westchestercountyny.gov) REMINDER: All required licenses should be submitted with the Bid. No bidder may withdraw its bid within forty-five (45) days after the date of the bid opening (Bid range: $ 33,000,000.00 to $ 35,000,000.00). *The County of Westchester reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bids, or to reject any or all bids. The scope of work of this project generally consists of the provision of all plans, labor, material, and equipment to construct the proposed Parking Garage Rehabilitation-Phase II project, located at the Michaelian Office Building, 148 Martine Avenue, White Plains, New York and shall include, but not be limited to the following items: 1. Hazmat abatement 2. Ramp repair / replacement 3. Concrete repair, including vertical and overhead surfaces or elements 4. Shoring 5. Parking area and ramp waterproofing 6. Parking stall and "no parking" zone striping 7. Guardrail and guiderail repair / replacement, including vehicle guiderails, pedestrian guardrails, and equipment guardrails 8. Fence repair / replacement 9. Traffic control 10. Garage access gate attendants 11. Sealing all new concrete 12. New construction as indicated on drawings 13. Expansion joint replacement 14. Plaza repair and waterproofing 15. Column Repair, by encasement and FRCM wrapping 16. Floor slab repair 17. Sprinkler repair 18. Drainage, including under-slab drainage systems 19. Plumbing, including new sump pump station 20. Plumbing repair and replacement, including wet and dry sprinkler systems 21. Electrical 22. HVAC, including replacement of existing ventilation systems 23. Fire Alarm, including replacement of existing systems 24. Carbon monoxide detection system replacement 25. Ground Penetrating Radar Survey and Mark-out of under-slab or inter-slab utilities 26. Sealing of existing flagpole penetrations in plaza area Work under this Contract includes all necessary labor, materials and equipment required to: o Replacement of (7) ramp slabs, from Level 2 through 9 o Repair of ramp B3 to B2 o Structural column and beam repairs throughout the garage, including FRCM wraps o Structural waffle slab and floor deck repairs: Levels B3, B2, and B1 o Replacement of air intake ventilation shaft on Levels B3 and B2 o Replacement of expansion joints along east and west sides of MLK Blvd. o Replacement of Plaza Level expansion joints, waterproofing, and pavers at the County Courthouse structure o Replacement of sub-slab drainage systems on Level B2 o Replacement and increased capacity of sub-slab drainage systems on Level B3 o Installation of water backflow prevention systems for fire and domestic water services o Replacement of existing dry-pipe fire suppression branch piping throughout Levels B3 to B1 o Preparation for expansion of future fire suppression system to upper levels o Replacement of ventilation systems, including fans, ductwork, supply and return grilles, and louvers o Replacement of heating and ventilation systems serving the dry-pipe fire sprinkler valve rooms o Repair/replacement of deteriorated electrical systems, including lighting, power devices, conduit and wiring o Replacement of the carbon monoxide detection system o Replacement and improvement of the smoke detection and alarm system o Repair/replacement of select vertical storm risers throughout the garage o Limited hazardous materials abatement as required o Parking stall striping on Levels B3 and B2 o Miscellaneous guardrail, guiderail, and fence repair or replacement throughout Levels B3 and B2 The inquiries shall be sent to: Esther Rivas Westchester County Department of Public Works and Transportation, 148 Martine Avenue, Suite 500 White Plains, New York 10601 (egr3@westchestercountyny.gov) To be given consideration, questions must be received by March 21, 2024, at 5:00 PM. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
