Question Deadline 03/06/2024 at 4:00 PM ET , The Adams County Engineer's Office works a 4 10 work schedule Monday - Thursday. All questions must be submitted via this portal by the date and time deadline to be answered and possibly incorporated as an addenda. Do not call or email the County with pre-bid questions. There is no pre-bid meeting for this project. The 4 sites are funded by individual grants from FEMA and the State of Ohio and this contract will be awarded based on the total overall low and best bid. Be advised that any unbalancing or front-loading of a bid for a site or items will be grounds for rejection of a bid. This will be a lump sum contract for the overall total project amount, and price for each site will be a lump sum for that site. There will be individual purchase orders for each of the sites. Adams County Engineer will manage the Construction Contract. In accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54, et. seq., a bid bond for 100% or certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price must be submitted with each proposal. The Successful bidder is required to furnish a performance bond or certified check in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in bids or to accept in whole or in part such bid or bids as may be deemed in the best interest of Adams County.
