BID QUESTIONS & CLARIFICATION
All questions regarding this request for bid shall be submited, in writing, to bhazelip@ci.greenville.tx.us no later than 2:00 p.m., March 12, 2024. All questions will be addressed in an addendum. Questions received after the deadline may not be answered. The quanties specified are estimates of our projected annual requirements. The award of an estimated annual contract allows the CITY to use the items and services as the requirements and needs of the CITY arise on an annual basis and during any subsequent renewal period(s). Quanties may be increased beyond the estimated quanties listed in this bid, as necessary, provided funding is available. Quanties may be decreased below the estimated quanties listed in this bid, as necessary, if funding is not available or if items and services are no longer needed. The CITY is not obligated to pay for or use a minimum or maximum amount of items or services and payment will be made pursuant to the unit prices bid in the contract. The Contractor shall have no claim against the CITY for anticipated profits for the estimated quanties listed, diminished, or deleted. 3. DURATION OF AGREEMENT
A. The inital term of this agreement will be effectve for one (1) year. The CITY reserves the right to renew the agreement for up to four (4) additonal one (1) year periods upon the same terms and conditons of the original bid, with said options to be mutually agreed upon by both parties.
B. Prices shall remain firm for the duraton of the inital contract period. Thereater, price changes are subject to the Price Adjustment provisions of this Contract.
C. CITY reserves the option to temporarily extend this service for an additional ninety (90) days from its expiration date for any reason.
