REQUESTS FOR ATTENDANCE TO THE BID OPENING MAY BE SUBMITTED UP UNTIL THURSDAY, MARCH 26, 2024 AT 12;00 PM EST, BY SENDING A REQUEST TO KEISHA.ROBINSON@USDA.GOV Project: Muskrat Branch Temporary Bridge Installation Project Location: Tusquitee Ranger District, Nantahala National Forest, NC Site Visit A site visit will be held March 12th, 2024. The details can be found in the solicitation. If you plan to attend the site please email Keisha Robinson at keisha.robinson@usda.gov by March 11, 2024 at 2:00pm EST to provide a list of attendees from your company. Questions will be due by March 15, 2024 at 2:00pm EST. This Is a sealed bidding solicitation. A bid opening will be conducted through virtual means. All offerors who submitted a bid can attend the bid opening. Each bid will be opened and recorded. The bid opening can be attended by utilizing the following information: Bid Opening Date: March 26, 2024 Bid Opening Time: 11:00 AM EST Virtual Meeting Information: Please send in a request for the bid opening meeting information via email to keisha.robinson@usda.gov no later than March 25, 2024 at 12:00 PM EST. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. The project consists of the pickup from NFSR 7281 Poplar Cove Rd (Location Shown on Plans Sheet 3), delivery to NFSR 6262 (Location Shown on Plans Sheet 2), off-loading, installation, and site work associated with the setting of the bridge as shown on sheet 11. Specific work items include but are not limited to: construction survey and staking, soil erosion and pollution control, clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation, aggregate placement and compaction, roadway reconditioning, prefabricated bridge install, equipment rental, timber mat installation, seeding mulching and fertilizing, and all other items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications . *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
