Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Somerton, Arizona. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The project includes but is not limited to the following work within the CITY OF SOMERTON, Arizona: install a City Furnished pre-fabricated restroom, regrade the existing Perricone Park retention basin into level soccer fields, and irrigation piping and sprinkler system. Project also includes miscellaneous removals, and other work incidental to the CITY OF SOMERTON, PERRICONE PARK SOCCER FIELDS project as specified in the Contract Document and Project Plans. The project shall be complete and in place within 120 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. Each bidder is required to submit, with his bid, a certified or cashier's check upon a solvent bank, or a surety bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Base Bid made payable to the Owner. The Contractor is hereby required to provide and pay for Performance and Payment Bonds. Bonds shall secure the faithful performance (100%) of the Contract and the payment of all obligations (100%) arising there under, in such form as the Owner may prescribe and with such sureties that he may approve. Both Bonds shall be active and held by the Owner for duration of the guaranty (warranty). Classification "A" Contractor License. A bid submitted by any Contractor not properly licensed at the time of bid opening shall be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. A voluntary pre-bidders conference has not been schedule. Award will be made to the lowest qualified responsive bidder. Formal award of contract will be on a City Council meeting within a month of the bid opening. The CITY OF SOMERTON reserves the right to cancel this procurement, and/or reject and/or all bids, and/or to waive any informalities or irregularities in a bid. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the bid opening thereof.
