Site work for a pre-engineered storage facility in Temecula, California. Completed plans call for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

Concrete pad poured and finished inside a storage building for Rancho California Water District (District); located at 37115 De Portola Rd. Temecula, CA 92590 Provide all labor, equipment, and miscellaneous material to install a concrete pad inside a storage building. Full access from rear of building through 12' wide rv roll up door. 1. Import class 2 base as needed to maintain appropriate grade. Approx. 3575ft2. 2. Grade and compact base as needed in order to place concrete in area approximately 3,575 sq ft. 65'x55' 3. Set forms in order to construct concrete slab and tie #4 rebar 18" OC. 4. Furnish and place 6 " of 3,250 psi concrete material for slabs in area that is approximately 3,575ft2 5. Remove 25ft2 x 4 " existing concrete slab on the exterior of the building. Remove and dispose of material. 6. Pour 17'x14' landing pad outside of roll up door. 238ft2 Total area of 3813ft 7. Saw cut all joints Provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, permits and incidentals necessary to perform insert synopsis of services to be performed. To this end, the Contractor shall complete all of the work required within the time stipulated in and in strict compliance with the Contract Documents. Contractor and its surety shall be liable to the District for any damages arising as a result of the Contractor's failure to comply with this obligation. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, equipment, tools, supervision, services, transportation, waste disposal, facilities and other required items necessary to complete the following work in strict accordance with all of Section C (noted on page 13) and the Contract Documents. ESTIMATED PROJECT COST: $60,000 BIDDER'S SECURITY - Each bid shall be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or Bid Bond secured from a surety company satisfactory to the District, the amount of which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted Total Bid Price, made payable to Rancho California Water District as bid security. The bid security shall be provided as a guarantee that within ten (10) working days after the District provides the successful bidder the Notice of Award, the successful bidder will enter into a Contract in substantially the same format as Exhibit D of this RFB, and provide the necessary bonds and certificates of insurance. The bid security will be declared forfeited if the successful bidder fails to comply within said time. No interest will be paid on funds deposited with District. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS - The awarded bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. Each bond shall be in the forms set forth herein, shall be secured from a surety company that meets all State of California bonding requirements, as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, and that is a California admitted surety insurer. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES - It is agreed that time is of the essence for completion of this work. Therefore, the parties agree that pursuant to Government Code section 53069.85, the awarded bidder (Contractor) shall pay to the District, as fixed and liquidated damages, and not as penalty, a dollar sum in the amount of $500.00 per day for each calendar day beyond the allowed time stated in the Contract Documents after which the work is completed. TIME FOR COMPLETION - The work shall be commenced on a date to be specified in a written order from the District and project shall be completed within thirty (30) days or per construction schedule following the date specified in District's written order.
