Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project consists of the removal and replacement of 1,240 SY of concrete sidewalk, including approx. 170 SY of concrete sidewalk with a turned-up edge, replacement of curb and gutter, installation of 485 SY of concrete basketball court surfacing with two basketball goals and approx. 160 LF of eight-foot-tall fencing, removal and replacement of 435 LF of concrete drainage pipe, and installation of new park picnic tables and benches. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Section 102 of the Standard Specifications. All bidders must be licensed under the terms of Act 150 of the 1965 Acts of the Arkansas Legislature, including subsequent amendments. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening hereof. ***Document Note: Addendums to the bid package will be issued through the online MCE Plan Holders List; therefore, all prime bidders shall be responsible for downloading the bid documents from the MCE online plan room in order to be included in the Plan Holders List and submit a bid. Bidders must enter the addenda numbers in the Proposal to verify receipt.
