The work includes approximately 2,943 feet of industrial access road, grade and drain construction. All orders must be prepaid. There will be a 24-hour turn-around on all orders. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Russell County Industrial Development Authority, government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent of the bid shall be submitted with bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price. The Owner may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions of this advertisement and/or the specifications and may waive any informalities or reject any and all Bids. Any proposal received after the time and date specified shall not be considered and will be returned unopened to the proposer. Sealed bid should be labeled "Bid for LCRIC Access Road Extension Project". No Bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. State and Federal Wage Rates do not apply to this project.
