Renovation of an educational facility in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A. The scope of the work included under Division 22 of the specifications shall include complete systems as shown in the Contract Documents and specified herein. Any work reasonably inferable or required to result in a complete installation or the intended operation and performance of the systems, shall be included in the Base Bid except where there is specific reference to exclusion and incorporation in other quotations. B. A brief written Scope of Work appears in Division 1. Eufaula Dormitory Bathroom, Isolation Bathroom, and Laundry Renovation involves the demolition and renovation of all 4 dormitory bathrooms and the 2 isolation bathrooms. This renovation project is to include the replacement of the cast iron plumbing that services these bathrooms. The cast iron plumbing lines have leaks from the second floor that are dripping into the first-floor light fixtures and inevitably into the crawl space below the building. All sanitary sewer lines in the building will need to be replaced. The Laundry rooms will be renovated as well to accommodate a third washer and a second commercial dryer. **Site Inspections shall be scheduled by contacting the following: Jamie Upton - Facilities Maintenance Foreman at (918) 689-2522.** Each bidder must inform himself fully of the conditions relating to this project and the employment of labor thereon. Failure to do so will not relieve a successful bidder of his obligation to carry out the provisions of his contract. Insofar as possible the contractor, in carrying out his work, must employ such methods or means as will not cause any interruption of or interference with the work of any other contracto Bond Notes: All bids must have a fully completed Bid Form, 5% Bid Bond, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Business Relationship Affidavit, and proof of Indian ownership (if exclusion from the Local Hire Act is desired). Refer to Section 00200 for additional bid requirements. A five percent (5%) Bid Bond, fully completed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Business Relationship Affidavit shall be submitted with the bid. If selected to enter into a contract, the Contractor will be required to provide a 100% Payment Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Maintenance Bond as well as insurance coverage as described herein. Owner Rights: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities and irregularities.
