Approximate Quantities for Major Items for This Project Include: Sixty (60) 911 Trail Markers, Twelve (12) Distance Trail Markers, Seven (7) Interpretive Signs, Five (5) Wayfinding Signs, Four (4) Trail Head Map Signs; and Other Miscellaneous Items. The work awarded under this contract shall include one or more of the following locations: Farm-to-Market Road 1382 along Balcones Trail within the City of Cedar Hill, Texas. The Work Under This Contract Includes Furnishing All Labor, Tools, Material, and Equipment, and for Performing All Work Necessary for Installation of: Trail Signage Including 60 911 Markers, 12 Distance Trail Markers, 7 Interpretive Signs, 5 Wayfinding Signs, 4 Trail Head Map Signs, and Any Other Work Deemed Necessary by the City of Cedar Hill. All of the Above Shall Be Done in Accordance With Nctcog Specifications, With the City of Cedar Hill's Addenda and as Per Instructions of the Owner. All Construction Sequencing and Barricading Will Be Done According to the City of Cedar Hill Standards and Details and Txdot's Manual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices (Mutcd), Unless Work Occurs Within Txdot Row, in Which Case Txdot Standards Will Apply. All Questions Regarding the Construction Plans and Bidding Documents Shall Be Submitted in Writing and Addressed to Greg Pervis, City of Cedar Hill, 285 Uptown Blvd., Cedar Hill, Texas 75104, Purchasing@cedarhilltx.com. All Questions Are Due by March 13, 2024, Until 12:00pm. The Right is Reserved, as the Interest of the Owner May Require, to Reject Any and All Bids, and to Waive Any Informality in Bids Received. The Owner Reserves the Right to Waive Any Irregularities in the Bids as Received and to Reject Any and All Bids Without Qualification(S). More Than One Bid From an Individual, Firm or Partnership, Corporation or Association, Under the Same or Different Names, Will Not Be Considered. Proposals shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check upon a national or state bank, or savings and loan in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price, payable without recourse to the City of Cedar Hill (herein the OWNER), or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the BIDDER will enter into a contract and execute performance bond and payment bond within ten (10) business days after notice of award of contract to the Contractor. The notice of award o contract will be given by the OWNER within ninety (90) calendar days following the opening of bids. The successful BIDDER must furnish a performance bond upon the form provided in the amount of 100percentof the contract price and a material and labor payment bond upon the form provided in the amount of 100percentof the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the OWNER.
