Lemon Street, Rodgers Street, Church Street, Cleveland Street, Old Griffin Road, Sloan Street, Hooten Street, Hazelhurst Street, Hood Street, Dunn Street, Highland Avenue, Harkins Street, Turner Street and Copeland Street Milling, Inlay Resurfacing, Patching Where Designated, Centerline and Edgeline Striping, Adjusting Water Valves and Manholes to Grade, Stop Bars, Remove and Replace Existing Speed Bumps, Crosswalks, Symbols The proposed construction consists of furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all the labor necessary to satisfactorily complete the work described on the streets as listed above. Work being more specifically described in the Contract Bid Documents. All work shall be in accordance with the current up to date Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications and Supplemental Specifications (Latest Editions) and Details and the City of McDonough. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 5% (Five Percent) of the Total Base Bid. Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% (One Hundred Percent) of the total contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder. Bonds must be written by an acceptable Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the Department of Treasury, Circular 570, latest edition. The Mayor and City Council reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive the informalities or technicalities or to re-advertise as appropriate.
