Various Highway/street Castings 2024 These specifications are intended to provide the information by which prospective bidders may understand the requirements of the City of Erie relative to furnishing and delivering various castings for the Bureau of Sewers, Department of Public Works. Bids will be tabulated by unit prices and awarded as individual components. The award will be to the lowest single contract sum for each component using the unit bid prices. The City of Erie reserves the right to award the contract to the firm whose bid is lowest based on the entire scope of work or a reduced scope of work as determined by the Engineer. The City of Erie reserves the right to reject or delete any or all bids or parts of bids. TERMS OF CONTRACT. The term of this contract shall be for a period of two (2) years. The City of Erie reserves the right to extend the contract for an additional one (1) year period, provided the successful bidder submits a letter of intent to the City no less than sixty (60) days prior to contract expiration date.
