Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Questions not received by March 18, 2024 by 2:00pm may not be answered. The Project consists of but not limited to a. Removal of existing varsity baseball and softball backstops, dugouts, and fencing. b. Site relocation for a natural turf baseball and softball fields. c. Improvements at the baseball and softball fields to include construction of new 30 tall chain link backstops with 30 tall netting; home CMU dugouts with storage room. Visitor dugouts to be chain link fence with sloped metal roof. Single bullpens for both home and visitors at each field. d. Two single batting cages with sloped metal roof and lighting for both baseball and softball. e. Two new scoreboards and flagpoles. f. Construction to include perimeter fencing for each field with foul poles. g. Pre-engineered restroom building. h. Installation of associated hardscapes, fencing, landscaping, drinking fountains, site utilities, electrical, and path of travel for accessibility requirements. i. Repair of cracks and re-surfacing tennis courts. j. Additive Alternate #1 for work noted on the drawings associated with replacing existing chain link fencing fabric at tennis courts with black vinyl fabric, paint poles and hardware to match black vinyl fabric. Project Number - JFK01 The Sacramento City Unified School District is seeking bids for qualified Contractors to provide construction services for the John F. Kennedy HS Baseball/Softball/Tennis Court Improvements project. Interested bidders are responsible for checking the website periodically for any updates, revisions or Addenda. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors' license(s): Class A General Engineering Contractor and/or Class B General Building Contractor. Any bid that is submitted after this time shall be nonresponsive and returned to the bidder. Any claim by a bidder of error in its bid must be made in compliance with section 5100 et seq. of the Public Contract Code. The District encourages the participation of disabled veteran business enterprises ("DVBE") on all projects. The District has entered into a Project Labor Agreement that is applicable to this Project. A copy of the Project Labor Agreement is available for review at the District Facilities Office and may be downloaded from the District's website. The successful bidder and all subcontractors will be required to agree to be bound by the Project Labor Agreement SCUSD is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
