The scope of work generally consists of structural improvements, site improvements, and the removal and recoating of the interior and exterior coatings of a 2.5 MG welded steel reservoir. The structural improvements include seal welding portions of the interior: installation of circumferential guardrails, gutters, and downspouts; removal and replacement of manways, access hatches, and roof vent: and replacing the existing ladder with a stairway system. Site improvements include grading, installation of storm piping, catch basins, and other miscellaneous site improvements All bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in postal money order, certified check, cashiers check, or surety bond in an amount no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid. The check or Bid Bond shall be given as guarantee that the Bidder shall execute the Contract, Highline Water District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and will accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the District.
