The Existing Culvert Will Be Removed, And A New Reinforced Concrete, 3 Sided Pre-cast Culvert Constructed. Reinforced Concrete Footings, Wingwalls And Parapet With Railing Will Be Constructed. Guide Rail Will Be Removed And Replaced As Needed For Site Access. There Is A Gas Main Attached To The Current Culvert. This Is To Be Removed And Replaced On The New Culvert. Temporary Gas Service Will Be Needed During Construction In Accordance With Oru Requirements. The Contractor Is To Coordinate With Oru To Facilitate The Gas Main Work. Each Proposal Shall Be Accompanied By A Certified Check, Or Bid Bond Executed By A Surety Company, In The Amount Of Not Less Than 10 Percent Of The Total Amount Of The Proposal, Conditioned That If The Proposal Is Accepted, The Bidder Will Enter Into A Contract For The Work And That He Will Execute Such Further Security As May Be Required For The Faithful Performance Of The Contract. Erosion And Sediment Control, And Topsoil And Seed Restoration Are Included. Included In The Scope Of Work Is Disposal, Excavation, Backfill, Compaction, Fine Grading And, All Items Needed For A Complete Project. It Is Anticipated This Work Will Be Substantially Completed Between June And August 2024 To Comply With Nysdec Requirements, And To Minimize Disturbance To The School Buses. The Lowest Qualified Bidder Meeting The Requirements Of The Contract Documents Will Be Awarded The Bid. The Village Board Reserves The Right To Accept Or Reject Any Or All Portions Of The Proposal, And To Readvertise For Same, Should It Be In The Best Interests Of The Village. The Village Also Reserves The Right To Reject Any Proposal That Is Informal, Or Waive Any Informality In The Bidding Documents.
