A. Work of this Contract comprises of in general the total removal of the existing membrane roofing system to the concrete deck including the existing roof insulation. The contractor shall furnish and install new tappered roof insulation with new .060 TPO membrane roofing fully adhered system. The roofing contractor shall remove and replace new roof drain strainers, existing drains to remain. The roofing contractor must retain a licensed electrical contractor to disconnect and reconnect any electrical supplied roof top equipment. B. The owner shall retain a telecommunication consultant who will be responsible for working with the roof cell tower owners to identify active cell tower wires, cable trays and communication equipment. The telecommunication consultant shall be responsible for verifying all equipment, relocation plan and equipment is re-connected and working as required when completed. The roofing contractor shall move roof top equipment as directed by the telecommunication consultant. C. The contractor must provide all material, labor, tools, plant, supplies, equipment, transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature and all other services and facilities necessary to complete the construction for the Owner, including all incidental work as required or described in the contract documents. D. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. The roofing contractor shall coordinate the roofing removal with the telecommunication consultant and electrical sub-contractor with all costs included within their bid. The owner shall contract with the telecommunication consultant separately.
