Scope of Work A. Furnish Automated Meter Reading (AMR) water meters and radio antenna compatible meter box lids for potable water service. B. Residential meters shall use solid-state technology in a totally encapsulated, weatherproof, and UV-resistant housing. C. Meters shall operate in the 900 MHz band and shall be drive-by radio read or AMR. D. All meters shall operate with two-way communication between the endpoint and the manufacturer's software. Document Notes: Addendums to the bid package will be issued through the online MCE Plan Holders List; therefore, all prime bidders shall be responsible for downloading the bid documents from the MCE online plan room in order to be included in the Plan Holders List and submit a bid. Bidders must enter the addenda numbers in the Proposal to verify receipt. Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids will be subject to the requirements of the Arkansas Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) Programs as described in the contract documents. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President s Executive Order 11246, as amended. The Bidder commits itself to the requirements for the participation contained herein and all other requirements, terms, and conditions of these bid conditions by submitting a properly signed Bid.
