This study combines the update of the Transportation Element of the Master Plan and the Capital Improvement Plan. It should be noted at the outset, that Mesquite is already collecting a transportation impact fee on future development, so this study will re-evaluate and update those fees based upon the needed improvements to the system. The Transportation Element includes maps illustrating the existing and planned roadway, bikeway, and transit networks. The adopted map works in conjunction with the written plan's goals, policies, and actions.
