The City of South Fulton, (hereafter referred to as "the City), is issuing this Request for Proposals ("RFP") for a proponent Stand-by Contract for Civil Engineering Services ("Contractor") for the City of South Fulton various projects throughout the city. Possible projects could include site development, utility design, grading design, drainage design, surveying, structural design, etc. within the City as described in this RFP. The City of South Fulton's General Services Department is soliciting submissions requesting the following services to be performed on a task order basis by consulting firms to include (but not limited to) concept report preparation and validation, site feasibility studies, utility plans, preparation of displays for public meetings, surveys, and mapping, preliminary construction plans, erosion control plans, structural plans, permit assistance, and final construction plans. All qualification submittals will be evaluated in accordance with the applicable city of South Fulton rules, regulations, and laws. Evaluation of firms submitting statements of qualification for this project will be based on qualifications, experience, and performance on past projects, along with references. Proposal Duration: Proposals submitted in response to this RFP must be valid for a period of One Hundred and Twenty (120) calendar days from the Proposal Submission Deadline and must be marked as such. Questions received after the designated period may not be considered. Last Day for Questions to be Submitted Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, 12 Noon, ET. The initial term of this Contract shall be for one (1) year and may be renewed for four (4) successive one (1) year terms upon written notice by the City under the same terms and conditions. The services to be performed under this Contract shall commence on the effective date of this agreement and terminate absolutely and without further obligation on the part of the City at the end of every Term, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the termination provisions of this Contract. The Contract shall commence within ten (10) calendar days after receipt of written Notice to Proceed (NTP). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
