Saving Project...

Renovation of a detention facility in Cottonport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, & materials to remove current roll up door units & replace with new roll up door units at the Raymond Laborde Correctional Center for the Louisiana Department of Corrections (DOC). Job Specifications: -Contractor shall remove 19 existing roll up doors and guides located on the VoTech building. DOC shall be responsible for disposing of existing doors once removed. -Contractor shall provide and install 19 new roll up doors and guides in the place of the doors that were removed. In accordance with La. R.S. 37:2165 A (1), a Contractors' License Number in the appropriate classification(s) such as Building Construction and/ or Carpentry must appear on the bid opening envelope on all projects in the amount of $50,000.00 or more (and $1.00 or more if hazardous materials are involved). Failure to do so shall remove the bid from consideration. In accordance with La. R.S. 37:2165 C, anyone objecting to the above classification(s) must send a certified letter to both the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors and the Office of State Procurement. The letter must be received no later than 10 working days prior to the day on which the bid is to be opened.
