The Woonsocket Education Department is seeking proposals from qualified commissioning agents to provide comprehensive commissioning services for the construction of a new elementary school. Our district is committed to providing exceptional educational environments that foster learning and development. This RFP aims to identify a partner with a proven track record in delivering high-quality commissioning services for educational facilities. The project is committed to conforming to the NECHPS Version 4.0 standards, ensuring sustainable and efficient design practices are upheld. The new elementary school will be located at 44 Smithfield Road, Woonsocket, RI 02895, encompassing approximately 133,000 square feet. The facility will include standard classrooms, specialized rooms for art and science, a library, a gymnasium, administrative offices, and outdoor play areas. The project is scheduled to commence in May 31st 2024 with an expected completion and opening by May 31st 2027, making the total project timeline approximately three years Questions Due : March 6, 2024, 9.00 am Please direct all inquiries related to this Request for Proposals (RFP) to Brad Peryea at bperyea@woonsocketschools.com and Demo Roberts at droberts@downesco.com.
