Please see the attached Request For Proposal for the University of Guelph Design Standards Modernization a) Existing content categorization and development: • Using the two major categories of organization noted below, reformat and reorganize the existing sections while modernizing and refining language to be clear and concise. Reduce unnecessary instructions where applicable: Thematic Folders: include topics grouped by content (for example, lab design, residences, sustainability). Specification Divisions: include topics organized by work results (for example, fire protection, HVAC, electrical, utilities). Note, the intent is not to copy the Masterformat style, but to use the principles of that organizational structure in a condensed way. Ensure alignment with the Climate Action Plan, Capital Renewal Plans, Campus Master Plan, Accessibility Plan and Campus Security Audit. Consult with Department Managers & stakeholder groups during this process. Coordinate with any existing UofG website & Physical Resources Website content.
