Campus Saint-Jean (CSJ) Infrastructure Renewal Phase 2. At the McMahon Pavilion, CSJ will expand and renovate the main administration area to offer the space needed for effective services to students. All staff dedicated to student services will also be moved to one space, allowing for proper teamwork, sharing of information and better student support. In addition, the spaces used by student groups will be opened to create a student mentoring area and study space. CSJ will decanter and repurpose administration areas at the McMahon Pavilion and Lacerte Pavilion. Human resources in these areas will be relocated to the general office area. These rooms will become student study space, used for other educational CSJ recently moved the Centre collégial de l'Alberta and the École de langues in a newly created unit. These spaces at the Daridon Pavilion and McMahon Pavilion will now be used for professor offices and research areas, part of CSJ's strategic growth in professor contingent, as well as student meeting spaces. SJ Science program, located at the McMahon Pavilion, will be going through a major transformation, focusing on student self-learning and exploration, making the program unique in the province. The lab will be renovated to allow specific equipment to be acquired and to provide dedicated space allowing for safe self-guided, but thoroughly supervised, student learning. These will complement the existing, and state of the art, biology, chemistry and physics labs. The Historical room at Lacerte Pavilion that depicts a colonial past and one with direct ties to residential schools will be decanted and repurposed as a classroom or testing centre.
