Scope of Work o Weekly grass cutting, string trimming and edging from April 22ndst through July 12th, every two weeks from July 15th through August 30th, then weekly from September 2nd through November 23rd, 2024. As a part of each grass-cutting event, all yard waste is to be picked up and properly disposed of by the contractor. (All debris/litter must be picked up prior to grass cutting.) o Trimming and weeding of shrubs and bushes and flowers planted in permanent planter boxes every two weeks. o Trimming and weeding of center median planters every two weeks. o Weekly removal of waste and debris/litter/dead plantings from all permanent planter boxes and center median planters. o Fertilizing, application of weed control and watering of grass and plants within the parkways (not including permanent planters) to ensure healthy growth (minimum of three times a season for all but watering; watering within the parkways should be done weekly). o Water in-ground flower beds (29 within Cermak Rd. excluding center medians which contain irrigation) a minimum of 3 times per week or more often as necessary in order to maintain plant health during the season. Watering is from May 27th through October 11th. o Weekly removal of weeds and monthly application of vegetation killer in all paver bricks and concrete walkway areas are required. o Irrigation systems shall be energized and maintained by a third party and is NOT part of this contract. o All public trash receptacles shall be emptied and bags replaced weekly on Mondays and Fridays during the duration of the contract.
