Board of Trustees of Henry Ford College hereby invites the submission of Sealed Bids for the Imaging Technology Laboratory Renovation from qualified, responsible contractors with the ability to perform successfully under the terms and conditions of the proposed procurement. The right to reject any and/or all bids is reserved. The college will not consider or accept a response received after the date and time specified above. Henry Ford College (HFC) seeks to renovate the Imaging Technology Laboratory (Room G-212) on main campus located in Dearborn, Michigan. The Imaging Tech Lab has received only necessary repairs and minor updates over the past 20+ years. The project intends to bring the Laboratory up to modern standards and to emulate an actual, working Radiology Lab in a hospital. The scope of the Contractors work shall include: 1) Replacement of all flooring with new vinyl flooring; 2) Providing new laminate to existing counters; 3) Installation of ceiling mounted curtain track; 4) Patch, repair, and re-finish existing walls; 5) Modification of half-wall to lower height and mounting of Corian countertop to wall; and 6) All other changes as outlined on drawings (Bid 23079 Drawings.pdf). 7) Be responsible for the execution of this contract, including materials and workmanship of any firm acting as subcontractor. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing subcontractor(s) with complete and up to date drawings, specifications, or other information issued by the Architect or the College. A. If the Contractor chooses to subcontract any installation service or other portion of this specification, the Contractor shall fully warrant prompt performance of the subcontractor in a fully complete, workmanlike manner customary to the trade. B. Failure by the subcontractor to perform in a timely manner shall not relieve the Contractor of its obligations to make the complete and timely delivery of the products or services specified herein at no additional cost to HFC. 8) Coordinate installation schedules with the College. The College will work closely with the Contractor to provide all information necessary for the Contractor to meet deadlines. 9) Assign a project manager to the project who shall be responsible for all aspects of the work. The Contractor shall notify the Colleges designee of all work schedules and timelines. The College reserves the right to reject the Contractors proposed project manager without penalty and to request a substitution. 10) Exercise due care throughout the installation and repair any damage to HFC property caused by the Contractors workforce. 11) Store all equipment and materials at the Contractors location until ready to begin work. There are no storage sites available at the College prior to the start of the work.
