Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project involves the installation of two (2) trench drains, associated storm piping, pop-up emitter, lawn restoration/seeding, mountable asphalt curb, erosion control measures, existing sidewalk/curb/pavement/lawn restoration as necessary. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of The School District of Jenkintown, or a Bid Bond in favor of The School District of Jenkintown in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. A Pre-bid Conference will be held at the date, time and location indicated in Article 5 of the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening. The School District of Jenkintown reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities. The general project scope includes the installation of two (2) pre-cast ABT, Inc. trench drains in the parking lot located to the southwest of the School District Building. The two (2) trench drains will include proposed storm sewers to discharge into an existing inlet in Highland Avenue and to a proposed NDS pop-up emitter in the existing driveway adjacent to Florence Avenue. Storm sewer cleanouts are also proposed. Existing asphalt pavement, concrete curbing, concrete sidewalk, and lawn areas are to be restored as necessary. A proposed mountable asphalt curb is to be installed. Additionally, the area to the south of TD-2 is to be permanently seeded and erosion control measures (compost filter sock and inlet protection) are to be installed.
