GENERAL DESCRIPTION. Bids are solicited under a general construction contract for furnishing and installing the following items with related appurtenances in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications entitled "Lafontaine Way Watermain and Sewer" and generally described as follows: Complete installation of 2,460 lft of 12-inch ductile iron watermain, 1,535 lft of 8-inch ductile iron watermain, 3,148 lft of 10-inch SDR-26 sanitary sewer, 88 lft of 8-inch SDR-26 sanitary sewer and 441 lft of 6-inch SDR-26 sanitary sewer along Lafontaine Way and Birch Drive. Installation will include all necessary appurtances and accessories necessary for complete watermain and sanitary sewer installation BID SECURITY. Each Bid submitted to GCDC-WWS shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, money order payable to GCDC-WWS or a Bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total base Bid. Bids submitted without the aforementioned Bid security shall not be read and considered at the Bid opening
