Site work for a religious / funeral development in Irwindale, California. Completed plans call for site work for a religious / funeral development.

The Project consists of the construction of 6" concrete pads; furnish and installation of new bollard lights, inground LED flag uplights, palm tree uplights, and its associated electrical work per plans and specifications. Furnish and install new precast concrete benches; Remove and relocate existing light poles per plans; Design-build a new drip irrigation system for the newly planted palm trees and hedges. Furnish and plant new privet hedge and queen palm trees; and remove & relocate existing palm trees as shown on the plans. Submission of sealed bids must be accompanied by cash, cashiers check or certified check made payable to the City or a bidders bond issued by a carrier licensed in the State of California with a rating of A- or better as stated from time to time by Standard and Poors', Moodys' or Bests for an amount egual to at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. However, for submission of electronic bids through PlanetBids, the apparent lowest responsive bidder will be notified by the City to deliver the physical bid bond within three (3) business days to the City following the bid opening. The City of Irwindale reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding. Per section 3300 of the Public Contract Code, the successful contractor must possess a valid Class A Contractors State License at the time of award of contract for the type of work proposed. A valid Class C-27 for all landscape-related work. Prevailing Wage Law. The contractor specifically agrees to comply with the provisions of Labor Code Sections 1770 et seg. relating to payment of prevailing wages by the contractor, the keeping of payroll records, and all the provisions therein, and agrees to be responsible for compliance with all such sections by any subcontractor under them As required by California Labor Code Section 1775, the contractor shall, as a penalty to the City of Irwindale (City) a forfeit of not more than fifty dollars ($50.00) for each calendar day for each worker paid less than the prevailing labor rates as determined in accordance with Section 1775. The contractor shall pay each worker paid less than the prevailing wage the amount of the difference.
