The purpose of this IFB is to solicit qualified contractors that the MHA may award a contract for Flooring Services. The intent of these floor covering specifications is to set forth Contractor to provide cost of LVT in bulk. The MHA reserves the right to purchase additional flooring related items not listed under this contract. The Contractor to furnish all labor, material and tools required to install new LVT flooring as per the minimum specifications with the addition of wood flooring repairs including but not limited to the replacement of subflooring, underlayment, framing including sills, vapor barrier, concrete pads and insulation when needed. MHA anticipates that it will initially award a contract for the period of 1 year with the option, at MHA's discretion, of 3 additional one-year option periods, for a maximum total of 4 years. It is MHA's intention to enter into indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract(s) with one (1) or more qualified firms to provide these services. The contract will be awarded to the most responsive and responsible contractor offering the lowest acceptable price, which is most advantageous to the MHA, provided the bid complies with all conditions of the Invitation for Bid. The MHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. The MHA is prohibited from making any awards to company (including subcontractors) or any individuals which are on the lists of companies' ineligible to receive awards from the United States Government. The MHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the IFB process, or to terminate the IFB process at any time, if deemed by the MHA to be in its best interests.
