Renovation of a municipal facility in Broomfield, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

As of May 6, 2024, this project was awarded to Conserve-A-Watt, awarded amount is not available. The Colorado Department of Agriculture is requesting for review and consideration an Electrical Contractor to furnish labor and materials to provide and install new LED lighting to replace existing fluorescent troffer lighting, fluorescent strip lighting and compact fluorescent recessed can lighting in our Main Building located at 305 Interlocken Parkway Bid Security: A bid security of not less than 5% of the bid price is required when the price is estimated to be $50,000 or more. The security shall be a bond by a surety company, the equivalent in cash, or otherwise supplied in a form satisfactory for the State. Noncompliance requires the bid to be rejected as nonresponsive Our fixture count is as follows: 547 - 2 x 4 troffer lights 43 - 1 x 4 strip lights 45 - 8" Compact fluorescent recessed can lights This is a like for like replacement to LED and we expect to use existing lighting controls, circuitry, and the Building Automation System (BAS) to control the lighting. All work is to be completed during normal business hours 7AM-4PM. No work during State Holidays will be permitted. The phasing of this project will be coordinated with ownership to ensure work areas will be clear of employees and any other material that can be moved. This project is tax exempt. This project must include permits for electrical and fire alarm systems as required. Pricing should include temporary lighting and power per OSHA standards. Task lighting shall be provided by the trade requiring it.
