The work consists of construction of a traffic signal, pedestrian signals, roadway milling, pavement overlay, sidewalk, curbing, pedestrian curb ramps, signage, pavement markings, and pedestrian crossing equipment. There are three add alternates for this project. Traffic Signal Installation, Pavement Resurfacing, and Pedestrian Improvements. Traffic Signal and Roadway work in the Town of Maynard, MA during the 2024 construction season. There are three add alternates for this project. The bid must include a hid deposit equal to 5% of the bid price, the deposit shall be in the form of a bid bond or check made payable to: Town of Maynard. Award Date: Award will be made within (thirty) 30 days after bid opening unleas otherwise stated in the specifications or the time for award is extended by mutual consent of all parties. All bids submitted shall be valid for a minimum period of sixty (60) calendar days following the date established for acceptance. Based on the Town's availability of funds, Contractor may start work any time after a signed Notice to Proceed is issued by the Town, however, no Applications for Payment may be submitted by the Contractor to the Town until on or after June 1, 2024.
