The County of Sonoma, Regional Parks Department is pleased to invite you to respond to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for As-Needed Architectural, Biological Resources, Cultural Resources, Engineering and Other Related Services. The Regional Parks Department is soliciting proposals for the purpose of developing an "As-Needed" Agreement(s) for work on various projects over a five (5) year term beginning in the summer of 2024. The Scope of Work (Attachment A) is not specific to any one project but rather a collection of the types of services and tasks generally needed within the particular discipline. OVERVIEW: The adopted Five-Year Capital Project Plan for Regional Parks contains numerous projects that may require As-Needed services for the following categories: Appraisal and Acquisition Services; Architectural & Access Compliance; Biological Resources; Civil and Bio-Engineering; Civil Engineering - Boat Launch and Marinas; Cultural Resources; Environmental and Regulatory Processing; Environmental Site Assessment; Geotechnical Engineering; Land Surveying and Traffic Engineering. All work under the As-Needed Agreement would be initiated by a Regional Parks Project Manager. QUESTIONS: Proposers will be required to submit any and all questions in writing per the schedule in order for staff to prepare written responses to all consultants. Written answers will be shared with all potential bidders through an addendum on the County's Supplier Portal and email notification. LIVING WAGE: The living wage rate required under the County's Living Wage Ordinance (LWO) has increased. Effective January 1, 2024, the living wage rate required under the LWO shall be $18.10 per hour, an increase over the previous $17.65 per hour. The increase was adopted by the County's Board of Supervisors on December 12, 2023, in accordance with Sonoma Municipal Code section 2-377(d). All covered employees must be paid at least the increased living wage rate. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
