The new Fire Station No. 4 will create a new firehouse for Fire Station No. 4, one that can adequately support its operations and meet the evolving needs of the city. The 21,000 SF station will house a Medic Unit, Engine Company, Truck Company or a future Heavy Rescue Company. The proposed facility will include three full and one-half apparatus bays, accommodating the vehicles and equipment necessary for efficient emergency response. Three shifts of nine fire fighters, two Lieutenants, and a Captain will live and work in the facility. Additionally, it will serve as the home base for a District Chief, ensuring effective leadership and decision-making during critical situations.
