Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Snohomish, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

Project Description: Snohomish County Public Works proposes to replace Pilchuck Creek Bridge #626. The existing bridge carries a two-lane road, classified as a Local Access (Rural) road with approximately 428 vehicles per day. The existing 180-feet long, 3-span bridge carries Old 99 N Highway over Pilchuck Creek, north of 236th St NE exit 210 to I-5. The replacement project is funded by Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) administered by Washington State Department of Transportation Local Programs. Estimated start date: June 1, 2024, and end date December 31, 2027. Scope and Nature of the project: The County reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent phases (R/W, CN) associated with this/these project(s).
