Project to include: The reconstruction of approximately 4,500 linear feet of Retama Parkway with sidewalks, bike lanes, and associated improvements between Lookout Road and IH-35 service road and the reconstruction of approximately 1,450 linear feet of Alton Boulevard from Mountcrest Drive to Chippewa Boulevard and associated improvements. Please submit questions for this project no later than 72 hours prior to bid opening through online A CERTIFIED CHECK or an acceptable bid bond in an amount of not less than three percent (3%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the City of Selma and furnish bonds on the forms provided. SPECIFICATIONS may be examined without charge at the City of Selma. Contract documents including bid proposal forms, plans sheets, and specifications for the Project may be viewed and obtained free of charge (with the option to purchase hard copies). BIDDERS are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves of all local conditions. Time of completion shall be 360 calendar days including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER OR BIDDERS will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Maintenance Bond as stipulated in the specifications.
