The Chicago Park District ("CPD") seeks construction services for Kelvyn Park Fieldhouse Renovation and invites members of the Pre-Qualified Pool-General Contractor Services to submit proposals in response to this RFP. Kelvyn Park is located in the Hermosa community (one block south of Diversey Avenue, and mid-way between Cicero & Pulaski Avenues). The two-story Fieldhouse sits on 9.92 acres. The project includes ADA upgrades to serve as a U.S. Department of Justice polling location with a new ADA exterior ramp, new concrete exterior stairs, full renovation of two first floor bathrooms and renovation to two first floor Club Rooms. Other improvements include and not limited to: full roof replacement (PVC at flat roof; both copper and metal at historic mansard roof), site utility repairs, front plaza replacement, select environmental remediation, select interior finishes, and select mechanical, electrical and plumbing scope. These improvements are developed in accordance with the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD).
