Reference Number 0000265856 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/03/22 12:00:00 AM CDT Manitoba Hydro is seeking architectural design Services for new or existing facilities at Manitoba Hydro within the Corporate Facilities portfolio. Corporate Facilities uses an out-task approach for design Services throughout the portfolio. The intent is to engage a professional architect to complete tasks as assigned by Manitoba Hydro Planning and Design personnel, on a Primary and Secondary Consultant basis for a maximum duration of five (5) years. Manitoba Hydro is issuing this Request to seek the submission of competitive Proposals for all that is required for architectural design services for new or existing facilities at Manitoba Hydro. The scope of the services under this RFP may include a wide range of services, including pre-design studies, furniture test fits, condition assessments, preparation of construction drawings, budgeting, and contract administration. The services may require the involvement of building service engineering (structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering) and additional services for civil, landscape and interior design. Manitoba Hydro owns and operates more than two million square feet of mostly office and industrial space throughout the province. As infrastructure ages and business requirements change, Manitoba Hydro is regularly renovating, expanding or building new at various locations. The Planning and Design section in Corporate Facilities is responsible for portfolio management, master planning, and capital project planning and design for all buildings at Manitoba Hydro, with the exception of generation and transmission assets. Projects may be initiated as a result of capital renewal requirements (asset management) or to respond to changing business needs. Manitoba Hydro has a strategic asset management strategy for our facility portfolio that strives to achieve best overall value for the corporation. We emphasize a life-cycle view to ensure that our portfolio is sustainable from a functional, economic and environmental perspective.
