General Construction contract There will be three (3) separate prime contracts for General, Electrical, and Plumbing Construction. The project includes, but is not limited to, construction of an addition to the existing pavilion and storage structure at Jackson Meadows Playground, including an ADA compliant restroom, storage room, roof replacement, and all other construction work required to satisfactorily complete the project, as more fully described in the technical specifications, and indicated on the contract drawings. Prevailing wage rates and record-keeping procedures established by Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall apply to the project. Contract No. 1 - General Construction includes, but is not limited to, construction of an ADA compliant restroom and storage room addition with cast-in-place reinforced concrete footers, concrete floor slab, concrete masonry unit walls, wood roof trusses, removal of the existing asphalt shingle roof and replacement with a corrugated metal roof / ridge vent for the existing pavilion structure and proposed addition, vinyl siding, and all other general construction work required to satisfactorily complete the project. Completion- 75 days All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing via the "Messages" feature in PennBid. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding.
