Renovation of a residential development in Wellsville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Security Cameras A certified check or bank draft, payable to Columbiana Metropolitan Housing Authority, US Government Bonds or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds. All Bidders are required to submit HUD Form 2530, Previous Participation Certificate, with bidding documents. In addition, all Bidders must submit a written Affirmative Action Program with each bid. The Affirmative Action Program must include specific goals and timetables for the employment and training of minorities and for the employment and training of lower residents of the project area. Each Bidder must insure that no employee or applicant for employment is discriminated against because of their race, color, creed, sex or national origin. Minority Business Entrepreneurship Partnership is necessary in order to be a responsible Bidder. The Prime Contractor is required to submit a list of minority subcontractors selected and the dollar amount to be subcontracted. Failure to submit the required MBE and WBE documentation will deem the bid nonresponsive. The Columbiana Metropolitan Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of said bids. The Project consists of NEW SECURITY CAMERAS at Independence Square in Wellsville, OH for the Columbiana Metropolitan Housing Authority. All Work of this project is to be bid under one prime contract. Work incorporated, but not limited to this contract, is as follows: 1. Provide demolition and new work as shown on Drawings and specified herein. 2. Provide all miscellaneous related General, Mechanical and Electrical work as shown and described in the Contract Documents. 1.3 CONTRACTOR USE OF PREMISES A. General: Limit use of the premises to construction activities in areas indicated; allow for Owner occupancy and use by the public. 1. Confine operations to areas within Contract limits indicated. Portions of the site beyond areas in which construction operations are indicated are not to be disturbed. 2. Keep driveways and entrances serving the premises clear and available to the Owner and tenants at all times. Do not use these areas for parking or storage of materials. Schedule deliveries to minimize space and time requirements for storage of materials and equipment on site. B. Use of the Existing Building: Take all precautions necessary to protect the building and its occupants during the construction period. Repair damage caused by construction operations. 1.4 OWNER OCCUPANCY A. Full Owner Occupancy: The Owner will occupy the site and existing building during the entire construction period. Cooperate with the Owner during construction operations to minimize conflict and facilitate Owner's usage. Perform the Work so as not to interfere with the Owner's operations.
