Eli Porter Memorial Inclusive Playground Project. Fuller Park is a 6-acre site that is home to the Albion Family Aquatic Center as well as other recreation assets such as play equipment and picnic shelters. The City of Albion does not currently have accessible and inclusive play structures in their recreation asset profile. The Eli Porter Memorial Project is intended to create an inclusive play space for area citizens as well as those visiting our community. The City of Albion has already received informal proposals for this project and has developed the project budget based upon these preliminary proposals. Each proposal shall include: 1. One (1) original and Five (5) copies. 2. A single total project cost including a detailed itemized breakdown of all charges. 3. Minimum 11x17 color rendering of the design. 4. Plan sheets showing entire design with dimensions. Minimum size of 11x17. 5. List of design components. 6. Copy of manufacturers warranty and liability coverage. 7. Contractor information that will be providing professional installation services. 8. Accessibility summary. 9. List of 3 references with contact information. 10. Approximate installation date Project Schedule RFP Issued: March 1, 2024 Proposals Due: March 22, 2024 by 2:00 pm City Review Process: March 25 April 4, 2024 Council Approval: April 9, 2024 Installation Date: Spring/Summer 2024
