Mechanical Construction #302 - Mont Pleasant Middle School Track and Field Project. Project Location: Mont Pleasant Middle School (1121 Forest Road, Schenectady NY 12303). 1. New Concession Stand building to be constructed immediately adjacent to the new track and field project, and interior renovations as required to establish a new secured vestibule within the adjacent middle school. 2. The construction of the Concession Stand consists of construction of a new building including but not limited to the building(s), related site work, utilities, toilet rooms, concession area, support spaces, ticket booth/building, and the incorporation of other adjacent project enhancements including windscreens, decorative trusses, and signage. 3. The work also includes the interior renovation of a small portion of the adjacent middle school building which includes a new secured vestibule, including renovations to corridor walls, new walls, doors, floors, and/or windows. All bids received after that time will be returned to the respective bidder unopened. Bids are requested for the following Prime Contracts: o General Construction #301 o Mechanical Construction #302 o Plumbing Construction #303 o Electrical Construction #304. The Architect for the Project is: SEI Design Group Architects, DPC, 2 Winners Circle., Suite 101, Albany, NY 12205 All RFIs must be received, by the Architect, no later than March 19th at 3pm. Bids shall be on the form provided in the documents, prepared in duplicate as set forth in the Instructions ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 001110-2 22-4197 to Bidders and enclosed in an envelope bearing on its face the name and address of the bidder and the title of work to which the proposal relates. Any Bidder upon returning such set in good condition within fifteen (15) days after Bid opening will be refunded the deposit. The Board of Education hereby reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any or all Bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be for the best interest of the school district. Attention of the Bidders is called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment and minimum wage rates to be paid under this Contract as well as to other provisions set forth in the Instruction to Bidders. Work shall be commenced and continuously and diligently prosecuted immediately after contracts have been signed.
