No bids received per owner Proposals will be acted upon by the City Council of said City in the Council Chambers at 5:30 P.M. on the 1st day of April, 2024, or at such later time and place as then may be fixed. The structures for sale at 925 Laurel Street are a two-story single family home built in 1905 of approximately 1844 square feet and a 20' by 32' detached garage built in 1972. o The structures are being offered "as is" and without warranty of any kind. The successful bidder will be responsible for complying with all applicable state and local building, plumbing, electrical and mechanical codes and ensure the relocation site is properly zoned. The successful bidder(s) will be responsible for any hazardous materials mitigation that may be necessary. o The structure shall be relocated in its entirety. Proposals for less than the entire structure will not be accepted by the City of Waukee. o The structure must be moved entirely from its current location no later than Friday, May 31, 2024. Failure to meet the deadline specified above will result in forfeiture of the purchase price and performance security and demolition of the structure(s) by the City.
