The scope of work is to remove and replace all of the pedestrian ADA Ramps within the limits of each of the City of Milwaukee "High Impact" asphalt paving projects. The "High Impact" asphalt paving projects locations are as follows: O.N. 27-1-2024 S. 44th St. - W. Kinnickinnic River Pkwy to W. Arthur Ct. (including W. Arthur Ct.) S. 50th St. - W. Ohio Ave. to Cul-de-Sac S. 97th St. - W. Beloit Rd. to W. Oklahoma Ave. W. Ohio Ave. - S. 50th St. to S. 51st St. W. Orchard St. - S. 12th St. to S. Cesar E. Chavez Dr. W. Pabst Ave. - S. 33rd St. to S. 35th St. E./W. Waterford Ave. - S. Whitnall Ave. to a point west of S. 3rd St. O.N. 28-1-2024 W. Clybourn St. - N. 27th St. to N. 35th St. E. Dakota St. - S. California St. to S. Pine Ave. S. Delaware Ave. - E. Estes St. to E. Iron St. S. Ellen St. - E. Holt Ave. to E. Ohio Ave W. Michigan St. - N. 27th St. to N. 35th St. S. Pennsylvania Ave. - S. Kinnickinnic Ave. to E. Ohio Ave. Time for Completion: All work on this contract shall be completed by October 31, 2024. Liquidated Damages, per diem: $500.00/Day The residency requirement for this project is 40% of all hours worked on the project. One quarter of these hours must be attributable to residents living in the following zip codes: 53204, 53205, 53206, 53208, 53210, 53215, and 53233. The SBE requirement for this project is 25% of the contract base bid. The SBE Compliance Plan (Form A) must be submitted with the bid and is an element of bid responsiveness. SBE certificates must be submitted with the Form A. Incomplete SBE Compliance Plans (Form A) or inaccurate SBE Compliance Plans will not be accepted and will render the bid unresponsive. If the forms are not filled out properly, it will be cause for rejection of the bid. Bid Security Required: Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Cash to accompany bid: 10% of the Contractor's Base Bid.
