General Nature of Public Improvement Proposed Parking Lot Improvements - Phase 8- Henry County Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital - Mount Pleasant, Iowa - 2024 This project includes approximately 1,750 square yards of PCC pavement replacement in the northeastern parking lot and entrance drive, along with approximately 200 square yards of sidewalk at the Henry County Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital. Time and Place for Filing Sealed Bids. Time for Commencement and Completion of Work. The work under the proposed Contract shall commence upon issuance of the written Notice to Proceed. The proposed parking lot replacement improvements listed shall be fully completed on or before October 25, 2024. Est. Value: $ 225,000.00 The Bidder agrees to pay as liqui!dated damages the sum of $500 for each consecutive calendar day after the specified completion date that the project is not fully completed. Bid Security. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Code of Iowa. Bid security shall be 10% of the bid amount. Contract Documents.
