The City of Round Rock, herein after "the City" seeks a bid from firms experienced in the collection and disposal of household hazardous waste (HHW). The City has been operating a household hazardous waste collection and disposal facility since May 2004. All collection events will be held at the City recycling center located at 310 Deepwood Drive in Round Rock, Texas. This facility will serve approximately 120,000 persons. Participation is expected to serve 1500 to 2000 households annually. It is estimated that thirty (30) tons (prepackaged waste weight) of hazardous waste will be collected annually. Owner Rights:The City reserves the right to reject any or all responses, or to accept any response deemed most advantageous, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the response received that best serves the interest and at the sole discretion of the City. All solicitations received may be evaluated based on the best value for the City.
